  A former employee of a Dallas bar says the establishment practiced acts of racism by excluding blacks and Asians from its business. According to Stephanie Guidry, Kung Fun Saloon in Uptown did so by enforcing a strict dress code, but not applying it to its white customers. 

Comedian Tracy Morgan remained responsive but in critical condition early Monday following a deadly car wreck that left one man dead. Morgan’s publicist said he’s showing signs of improvement. 

  Actor Morgan Freeman made some pretty interesting comments during an interview with CNN’s Don Lemon about race and wealth. The star joined Lemon to promote his new series Through the Wormhole on the Science Channel. But somehow the two ended up discussing wealth inequality and race. 

First lady Michelle Obama and media mogul Oprah Winfrey will speak at Maya Angelou’s funeral on Saturday. The critically-acclaimed poet, author and activist passed away peaceful on May 28. She was 86.
