A California lawyer who is representing the family of a teenager girl declared brain dead has pinned an open letter in defense of the family’s decision. Christopher Dolan’s letter appeared in the Los Angeles Times earlier this week. 

A Commonwealth Court judge issued an order Wednesday permanently blocking the controversial photo ID law that threatened to disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of voters in Pennsylvania. Judge McGinley stated that the voter ID law “does not pass constitutional muster because there is no legal, non-burdensome provision of a compliant photo ID to all qualified electors.”
