  A Texas-based city council member is standing by racist remarks made public during a taped conversation in a parking lot despite calls for her resignation. La Marque City Council member Connie Trube’s comments were made public Monday evening.

  Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling has issued an apology for racist remarks made during a recorded conversation with his former girlfriend V. Stiviano. On Sunday, Sterling apologized for the entire ordeal calling it a “terrible mistake.”

Members of the NYPD have barged into James Jordan Sr.’s family home looking for him more than a dozen times. Jordan Sr. has been dead for 8 years, and despite his family members posting his death certificate on the front door, police are still invading their home. 

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has  decided to suspended Clippers owner Donald Sterling for life for racist comments heard during a conversation with his then-girlfriend Vanessa Stiviano. Sterling will also be forced to pay a $2.5 million fine.
