According to a recent report, black youth between the ages of 12 and 20 are exposed to far more alcohol advertising than their peers. And while prior studies suggest that black youth drink less than their peers, African Americans tend to suffer greater, harsher consequences for alcohol consumption.

According to a new study released by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the number of children living in areas of concentrated poverty in America has grown by 1.6 million in the last decade. The study shows that Black, Native American and/or Latino children are more likely to live in poverty-stricken areas.
