According to a recent study conducted by the Yale University Child Study Center, Black boys recieve less attention, harsher punishments, and lower grades in school than their White counterparts. This trend persists from kindergarten all the way through college, regardless of socioeconomic status. What can we do to fight these trends?

The Labor Department announced today that unemployment has fallen to 8.5%. Black unemployment continued to rise however, climbing from 15.5% to 15.8%, and from 39.8% to 42.1% amongst Black teens.
