Alumni and students at Loyola University Chicago say they’re furious that the school changed its policy to prevent same-sex couples from getting married on campus. The decision comes after Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn signed a bill into law that allows same-sex marriage. 

The relevance of black awards shows have long been debated. From the BET Awards to the NAACP Image Awards, the spotlight has mostly been placed more on the companies and networks hosting the ceremony than those that are being honored.
