FBI director James Comey thinks that state and local law enforcement need to do a better job of tracking and reporting hate crimes so that the public can “fully understand what is happening in our communities, and how to stop it.” 

Reverend Al Sharpton is downplaying claims that he served as an informant for the FBI.  The claims originally surfaced via The Smoking Gun, which stated that Sharpton worked as a mob informant for the FBI in the 1980s.

Forty years ago today, the murder of a NJ State Trooper led to the imprisonment and conviction of Assata Shakur. To commemorate this “anniversary,” the FBI will announce today that Assata Shakur has been added to the Most Wanted Terrorist List; and doubled the reward for her capture.

The grandson of Malcolm X has been arrested by FBI agents. Malcolm Shabazz was apprehended when attempting to board a flight to Iran. There is no word on why he was arrested.

According to WTFV, the FBI may charge George Zimmerman with a hate crime in relation to the shooting death of 17 year-old Trayvon Martin. Dederal hate crime charges carry a maximum penalty of death, if convicted. Should Zimmerman be charged with a hate crime?
