A Florida man on trial for killing an unarmed teenager over loud music said that he “had no choice” but to shoot him. Michael Dunn, 47, is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 17-year-old Jordan Davis at a Jacksonville convenience station in November 2012. 

During his speech at Georgetown University Law Center, Attorney General Eric Holder announced that people with past felony convictions should have their voting rights restored. Currently the majority of ex-felons do not have the right to vote, despite serving time for crimes committed in the past.
