Former NFL star Darren Sharper returns to court Thursday for a hearing in Los Angeles that will determine whether he is released on bail. The decision follows a new set of charges against Sharper alleging that he sexually assaulted and drugged two women in Tempe, Ariz. last year.Â
Michael Dunn will not get a new trial for attempted murder convictions faced in connection to the death of Jordan Davis. He is facing a possible retrial on the first-degree murder charge. If re-tried, Dunn will have a new attorney representing him.

Several charges were dropped against Marcus Jeter, 30, including eluding police and assault and two Bloomfield police officers have been indicted for falsifying reports. One of them has been charged with assault.
