Founded by Rev. John Guns, Operation Save Our Sons aims to partner with nonprofits, schools, and police to teach young black men how to respond when confronted by police or others: “If Martin had been taught to call his father ‘a few doors away’ that night instead of getting into a confrontation with Zimmerman, his death might have been avoided, the Rev. John Guns said.”
According to an official briefed on his condition, South African freedom fighter Nelson Mandela is currently on life support. He has been hospitalized since June 8 with a lung infection. Mandela’s family has yet to confirm this situation.
