Justine Sacco, Director of Communications for IAC, parent company of Vimeo, OkCupid and CollegHumor, tweeted that she hoped that she didn’t get AIDS while visiting Africa. The tweet appeared earlier today, and remains on her account: “Going to Africa. Hope I don’t get AIDS. Just Kidding. I’m white!”

Home Depot apologized for a racist tweet sent from its Twitter account Thursday. The tweet was part of the company’s “College Gameday” coverage on ESPN. The tweet featured two African-American drummers with a drummer wearing a gorilla mask in between them.
