Five guns confiscated from former neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman have been returned. Police seized a .380-caliber handgun, a 9-mm handgun, a Glock 19 handgun, a Kel-Tec 12-gauge shotgun and an AR-15 assault-style rifle after he was arrested for a domestic violence dispute. 

At least two people have been injured in a shooting Friday at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado. The shooter is still believed to be inside of the school.

Prosecutors dropped assault charges against George Zimmerman after his girlfriend Samantha Scheibe withdrew a domestic violence allegation. The charges stemmed from a domestic violence dispute last month at the home the couple share.

An Ohio family is literally fighting a man who has taken over their home in court. The family returned to their Springdale, Ohio from visiting a dying relative out-of-town. The locks had been changed and their home of 21 years had a new tenant. 

26-year-old Tyson Jerome Barnette was shot and killed while delivering mail about 10 miles from the nation’s capital. Police were called to the scene Saturday evening in Landover and found Barnette dead from the wounds.

  Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Jonathan Martin will not return to the NFL for the rest of the league’s season. Martin left the team in October after accusing teammates of violently harassing him.
