7 year-old Wilson Reyes was accused of stealing $5 from a classmate, and a scuffle ensued. Instead of being sent to the principal’s office, the NYPD took him to a police station, handcuffed Reyes to a wall, and interrogated him for hours.

The NAACP has filed a complaint against eight elite NYC high schools.They allege that the admissions testing for entry into these schools results in effective discrimination against black and Latino students.
So apparently this issue is still alive. Officials in the great state of Kansas will hold a hearing this afternoon to decide whether or not Presient Obama is an American citizen and should appear on the November election ballot.

14 year-old Kardin Ulysse is now blind in one eye after a brutal, homophobic assault by bullies in the cafeteria of Roy H. Mann Junior High School in Brooklyn. His family plans to sue the city for $16 million, and want his attackers to face hate crime charges.
Yesterday, Judge Kenneth Lester ordered that Zimmerman’s statements to police be released within two weeks. Now, the public will soon know what George Zimmerman said to police after he shot and killed Trayvon Martin.
According to reports, George Zimmerman’s bail has been revoked, and he has been given 48 hours to turn himself in to police.
