Moffitt had alleged that three men in white hoodies intentionally set her on fire. The letters “KKK” were written on the hood of her car. Well, after two days of investigating, the authorities say Ms. Moffitt set herself on fire, and made up the entire thing.

A black woman named Sharmeka Moffitt was attacked and set on fire while on a walking trail in a city park in Winnboro, LA. Since the report surfaced, social media has been flooded with allegations that the attack was a hate crime perpetrated by the KKK.
