John Henry Spooner, the 75-year-old Milwaukee man charged with first degree homicide in the death of 13-year-old Darius Simmons, has pleaded not guilty. Spooner has waived his right to a preliminary hearing, and has a scheduling conference on June 20.
George Zimmerman’s will remain in jail until his next bond hearing, scheduled on June 29, 2012. Zimmerman, who has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin, was out on bond until last week.
According to reports, George Zimmerman’s bail has been revoked, and he has been given 48 hours to turn himself in to police.
