Disturbingly racist tweets followed a Michigan high school basketball team’s win on Thursday. Several students at Howell high, a predominantly white school, are now facing disciplinary action for their “white power” tweets after the boy’s team beat Grand Blanc. 

49 year-old Tonya Battles alleges that a hospital in Michigan granted a man’s request that no black nurses care for his newborn. Hospital supervisors say the man was openly white supremacist, and that they feared for the nurses’ safety.
