20-year old AJ Thomas reflects on black womanhood, and her commitment to the struggle: “I am no longer a slave to my fears, to others opinions and perceptions of me, to stereotypes, to any negativity. I am an advocate. I am a Black woman and I WILL make a difference. A petition has been launched demanding that George Zimmerman’s concealed carry permit be revoked. So far it has over 12,000 signatures.
According to Bill Cosby, one cannot prove that a person, Zimmerman in this case, is racist unless they say something like, “Hey, I’m racist,” and we should thus not talk about “racial stuff” regarding the reason for and outcome of the case:
