Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson said six-year veteran Darren Wilson is the police officer who fatally shot 18-year-old Michael Brown on Friday. Wilson, who is from the St. Louis area, has no history of disciplinary action. 

  Illinois State Police are on their way to Chicago to work with the city’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit as of Thursday. Starting at District 11 on the West Side, a new crime-fighting effort will bring forty officers with the Illinois State Police in to help the unit track down wanted criminals.
