A video of a man being shot to death by police as he sat in handcuffs has been released. An El Paso police officer pulled his Taser gun after drawing his handgun and fatally shot the man at the Downtown Jail last year.
The United States Patent and Trademark Office has canceled the Washington Redskins trademark registration. The decision comes after numerous campaigns forged by Native Americans and their supporters calling for the team to change their name. The trademark office called the football team’s name “disparaging to Native Americans.”
