After waiting for two hours, the manager finally approached them about the situation. When one member of the groups started recording the exchange, they were asked to leave.
The savage beating and death of 21-year old transgender woman Islan Nettles is being investigated as a hate crime.She’d been walking with friends when a group of men began shouting homophobic slurs and attacked them. Nettles died from her injuries.
