Renisha McBride was shot in the back of the head while seeking help from a resident after a car wreck early Saturday morning. Initial reports stated that the Detroit native was found by police on the outskirts of the city. Her body was “dumped,” and she was “left to die.” Now the cops are singing a different tune.
Penn State University will pay a total of $59.7 million to 26 victims of former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky. The school also indicated that more settlements could come in the future. Sandusky was convicted of 45 counts of child sexual abuse in June 2012.
