A federal appeals court blocked a judge’s order requiring changes to the NYPD’s stop-and-frisk program. The judge has also been removed from the case. In August Judge Shira Scheindlin ruled that the city had violated the Constitution by executing its stop-and-frisk policy.
A Highland Park, Ill. high school student was pulled out of class on Halloween after dressing like Jesus. Highland Park senior Marshon Sanders offended some teachers with his costume. He was readmitted to school after changing. 15 minutes into his first class, Sanders was called into the dean’s office.

Juror B-29 in the George Zimmerman trial says that her life was ruined because of the polarizing case. The juror, only identifying herself as Maddy during interviews with media, says she lost her job at a nursing home, lost friends and has received death threats.
