Cannon Lambert, attorney for Bland’s family, has informed members of the media that her family has settled a wrongful death lawsuit for $1.9 million. Texas Department of Public Safety will pay the maximum of $100,000, according to ABC 13. 

The medical expenses for the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando come out to more than $5.5 million, according to the Orlando Sentinel. However, two Orlando hospitals are covering the total of their medical costs as a kind gesture following a major tragedy.
