More than 30 black students wearing mostly-black attire were escorted out of a Donald Trump rally by authorities in Valdosta, Georgia on Monday evening. The students claim that they were sitting atop the bleachers with no intention to disrupt the rally as a form of silent protest.

In late January, three black female students at SUNY Albany claimed that they were targeted by as many as a dozen white students in a hate crime that turned physical on a CTDA bus. 

In 2013, three students were charged and found guilty in a hate crime at San Jose State University where an African-American freshman had a bike lock around his neck of misdemeanor battery, however on Monday they escaped conviction of hate crime contentions.

Friday morning, hundreds of students at Lincoln Park High School walked out of class to protest Chicago Public School’s proposed budget cuts. The students are concerned that if things continue on their current trend, they soon won’t have a school to attend at all, according to ABC7.
