Assata Shakur fought for justice and freedom as a member of the Black Panther Party and the Black Liberation Movement, before being falsely accused of murder and sentenced to life in prison. Assata escaped from prison on November 2nd, 1979 and eventually found her way to Cuba. She is a true revolutionary.
