It is unlikely that the Justice Department will bring civil rights charges against George Zimmerman in the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin. The news comes in response to allegations that the killing was racially motivated. 

  The creator of a racist cartoon that made fun of an intruder entering the president’s home apologized and called the cartoon an innocent mistake. Jerry Holbert, whose cartoon appeared in Wednesday’s Boston Herald, took to the airwaves Wednesday morning.
