  Dozens of people were killed Monday when a suicide bomber detonated an explosive at a northern Nigeria school. The bomber was disguised in a school uniform. 

  Terrorist group Boko Haram laughed off Nigeria’s announcement of a ceasefire agreement, saying that no such deal was ever in play. The group announced that more than 200 schoolgirls that were abducted in April have been converted to Islam and married off. 

  The World Health Organization has declared Nigeria free of the deadly Ebola virus after a determined doctor and thousands of officials helped end the outbreak that is still wreaking havoc on other parts of West Africa. 

  According the Nigerian government, more than 200 girls abducted by Boko Haram in April are set to be released back into the hands of their parents as early as Monday. The release comes after the signing of a ceasefire agreement with the terrorist group. 

More than 60 Nigerian girls and women who were kidnapped by Islamic extremists two weeks ago have managed to escape.

Nigerian officials may have closed their investigation into the kidnapping of more than 200 missing girls, but the case is not closed. In fact, at least 60 girls and women and more than 30 boys were abducted over the weekend. The Boko Haram terror group is believed to be responsible for the kidnapping.

Nigeria closed its investigation into the abduction of more than 200 girls by militants on Friday. At least 276 girls were kidnapped on April 14 from a school in northern Nigeria. 57 girls had escaped. 

    As the quest to rescue more than 200 Nigerian schoolgirls from an extremist terror group continues, police in Nigeria’s capital have banned all planned protests. The girls were abducted from a private school in Northern Nigeria on April 14.
