  The Florida-based activist group Dream Defenders has launched a bulletproof vest campaign for children in protest of Stand Your Ground legislation in the state. The group, which formed shortly after the death of Trayvon Martin, has taken on causes largely related to gun violence. 

  An autopsy performed on a mixed-raced man who was fatally shot by Utah police while armed with a samurai sword as part of a costume shows that he died of multiple gunshot wounds. The autopsy, released Tuesday, revealed that 22-year-old Darrien Hunt was shot four times in his back. 

  The official autopsy on Michael Brown, an 18-year-old unarmed black teenager whose death sparked national protests in Ferguson, Missouri and beyond, shows he was shot in the hand at close range. The accompanying toxicology report reveals that Brown had a trace of marijuana in his system.
