Chad Robertson, 25, died in a Chicago hospital a week after being shot in the back while fleeing from a pair of Amtrak police officers outside of Union Station. His death was ruled a homicide and a result of a gunshot wound to the back, according to The Chicago Sun-Times.

Takiya Holmes was sitting in a parked car with her mother, aunt and younger brother when a stray bullet struck her in the head this past Saturday. Takiya never regained consciousness and was in critical condition at Comer Children’s Hospital. Despite her mother’s constant pleas, Takiya never woke up and died Tuesday morning.
