On Wednesday, the mother of slain 16 year-old Kimani Gray spoke out for the first time since the tragic shooting of her son: “He was slaughtered,” Gray told a room filled with reporters, the AP reports. “And I want to know why.”
According to the medical examiner, 16 year-old Kimani Gray was shot seven times by the NYPD. He was hit three times in the back. Meanwhile, a third night of protests drew over 100 people, and resulted in 18 arrests.
