According to witnesses, on September 22, NYPD officers turned on their lights and via the police car’s loud speaker told a group of black teenagers walking down the street to leave the Park Slope neighborhood in Brooklyn. The issue was brought up during a Community Council meeting by Sara Bennett, who saw the event.

Eight protesters were arrested Sunday evening in Ferguson as police continued their search for a suspect who shot a police officer on Saturday. According to a Ferguson police officer, bottles and rocks were hurled at officers, and the department requested aid from other police agencies because of the large crowd.Â

Police are continuing their search for a suspect who wounded a Ferguson police officer Saturday night. Authorities say the incident involved only one person. Police also confirmed Sunday that the officer was wearing a body camera, but it was turned off during the incident.Â
