A Shaw University student found himself in handcuffs for studying passed the school library’s hours. Na’eem Wilkins, 21, an honor student and drum major for the school band was arrested for refusing to leave after the library closed at 11 p.m.Â
An Arizona teacher has filed a lawsuit against the Tempe Union High School District after students at Ahwatukee’s Desert Vista High School racially discriminated against her. The suit, filed by Cobb in February, came after a student posted a video to a social media site the month before.Â
