In a rare weekend court session, the girlfriend of a man on trial for killing a 17-year-old black teen over loud music took the stand. Rhonda Rouer testified Saturday in the Florida murder trial of Michael Dunn. Dunn fatally shot Jordan Davis in front of a convenience store in November of 2012. 

Police officers, and friends of slain teen Jordan Davis took the stand today in the second day of the trial that will decide Michael Dunn’s fate. Davis, 17, died in a gas station parking lot after an altercation over loud music. Dunn fired into the vehicle where Davis and his friends sat. 

Michael Dunn – the man who shot and killed 17-year old Jordan Davis over loud music – has plead not guilty of murder.

17 year-old Jordan Davis was killed outside of a gas station by 45 year-old Michael Dunn after an argument over loud music. While his family continues to seek justice, Jordan’s high school has awarded him an honorary diploma.

Jordan Davis was hanging in an SUV w/ friends outside of a convenience store. 45 year-old Michael Dunn pulled up alongside of them and asked that they turn their music down. After exchanging words, Dunn suddenly pulled out a gun and fired at least eight shots into the SUV.
