The retrial for Bill Cosby’s sexual assault case was scheduled to take place Nov. 6. However, plans have changed. NBC News reports that the retrial has been pushed back until spring of 2018 after Cosby’s defense attorney made a request to postpone jury selection.
Bill Cosby’s legal issues are very far from being over. For starters, the comedian will face trial in California in June 2018 for sexually assaulting a teenager 40 years ago. Secondly, it was just announced that he will face retrial for the sexual assault of Andrea Constand in November.
There is still no conclusion in the murder trial of Ray Tensing, a former University of Cincinnati police officer who fatally shot Sam Dubose in 2015. After six days of testimony and one day of closing arguments, the jury was deadlocked and forced Judge Leslie Ghiz to declare a second mistrial, according to WCPO.
