Two people have been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of Eastern Michigan University football player Demarius Reed. Reed was found dead outside of his off-campus home at University Green apartments on Oct. 18.

17-year-old Marvell Weaver is recovering after getting shot twice by a man who he tried to assault. In May, the Michigan teenager was playing Knockout, a game where the assailant attacks an unsuspecting person by sucker punching them in hopes of knocking them out with one blow. Charles Everett Brownlow Jr. is in custody after killing five people in his hometown of Terrell, Texas. Police say that Brownlow Jr. went on a shooting spree that spanned six hours, and claimed the lives of his mother and aunt.
