A Cook County judge was murdered outside of his home this past Monday morning in a robbery. Prosecutors say that Judge Raymond Myles, 66, wasn’t the intended target after it was found suspects had been following his 52-year-old girlfriend for a couple of weeks to learn her schedule.

At a press conference on Monday, Chance the Rapper promised to donate $1 Million to Chicago Public Schools (CPS). Chance spoke after experiencing frustration in conversations with Governor Bruce Rauner, who has promised and failed to fund Chicago Public Schools.
Keke Collier, a 24-year-old black, transgender woman, was shot and killed in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood, according to Mic. After being misgendered by local media, Collier’s identity was later confirmed by friends, such as Shasha Lauren.
