  Police are continuing their search for a suspect who wounded a Ferguson police officer Saturday night. Authorities say the incident involved only one person. Police also confirmed Sunday that the officer was wearing a body camera, but it was turned off during the incident.

According to family members, a 25-year-old man was complying with police orders when he was fatally shot by LAPD officers in the Florence neighborhood South Los Angeles. Officers responded to a report of a possible officer-involved shooting at the intersection of West 65th Street and South Broadway late Monday evening. 

A Philadelphia mother of two is facing up to 11 years in prison after police in New Jersey found a licensed gun in her vehicle when they pulled her over for a minor traffic offense.  Shaneen Allen was traveling through the state and says she was not aware of the state’s gun laws.

The NYPD is investigating whether one of its officers put 27-year old Rosan Miller in a chokehold. Miller is seventh months pregnant. The altercation was video-taped and resulted in the arrest of Miller’s brother and husband.
