An Arizona teacher has filed a lawsuit against the Tempe Union High School District after students at Ahwatukee’s Desert Vista High School racially discriminated against her.  The suit, filed by Cobb in February, came after a student posted a video to a social media site the month before.

A high school in Chicago is seeking to raise awareness and tolerance about race in a very interesting way. West Chicago High School’s Glee Club will hold a “Charity Minstrel Show” on Dec. 21. 

A human rights group is calling on Dunkin’ Donuts to remove an ad that they say is offensive.
The ad, currently running in Thailand, features a woman covered in black with only her lips colored pink, similar to that of the popular Minstrel Show images of early 20th century America.
