B. Scott is suing BET for forcing him to change his attire before hosting the 2013 BET Awards Red Carpet special.

Actress Meagan Good is getting some flack for her choice of dress at the BET Awards. Good presented the award for “Best Gospel Artist” in a fairly revealing gown, which many commentators on social media are blasting as inappropriate and disrespectful.

BET has released a statement regarding the controversy surrounding their treatment of blogger/media personality B. Scott. In the statement, BET says they regret the “miscommunications from both parties,” and unintentionally offending the LGBTQ community.
