Kanye West's Video, Power: Artistic Genius, Lunatic, or Devil Worship?

Okay, am I the only one who finds Kanye West’s new video, Power, disturbing? Mind you, I love to see music videos that are artistic and push the envelope, but I will not deny that I was a little disturbed by his video, Power.
I think fellow blogger, Dallas, coined my feeling about Kanye West well when he said:
So, Marco Brambilla directed Kanye’s video, Power. And this is what he has to say about it:
POWER shows a continuous camera move from extreme close-up of Mr. West revealing an a neoclassical video tableau showing characters and creatures surrounding him in an abstract environment – all moving in extreme slow motion. Inspired by Michelangelo’s frescos in the Sistine Chapel, the piece depicts a faux historical moment – an empire on the brink of collapse from its own excess, decadence and corruption.
Hm, I know many people in blogsphere is wondering if Kanye is worshiping the Devil with his two new videos, Power and Coldest Winter. But, I do not think he is. Often, when things are different we call it contemptuous names (i.e. Devil worship) to make ourselves feel better about our lives and how we see the world. We loathe difference.

Even though, the video is a little disturbing, I like the song . . . the chant underneath his lyrics is captivating. Perhaps, the video is not disturbing, but thought provoking on a level of consciousness that many of us are not willing to confront . . . death, good vs. evil, corruption, greed, capitalism, and narcissism.
