Nearly 2,000 Killed by Boko Haram
Reports claim that nearly 2,000 people were killed during an attack Baga, Nigeria, a town near the Chad border.
Boko Haram fired rocket-propelled grenades and assault rifles onto the towns residents. According to the Guardian, the victims were mostly the elderly, women, and children, “those who could not run fast enough,” as the terrorists stormed through the town.
Amnesty International says that if the reported number is true, it will be the deadliest Boko Haram attack as of yet.
