Betty Shelby Found Not Guilty For Fatal Shooting of Terence Crutcher

Betty Jo Shelby has been found not guilty of first degree manslaughter charges connected to the fatal shooting of Terence Crutcher.

In another controversial ruling following an equally controversial shooting, the Tulsa, Okla. police officer was apparently “elated” after jurors read the ruling. Meanwhile, Crutcher’s family was escorted out of the courtroom due to their emotional reaction, according to CBS News

Oklahoma Hangs Nooses On Property As Warning To Thieves

Instead of getting a security system, an Oklahoma homeowner decided to send a warning to potential thieves in a very different way. Merle Martindale of Okmulgee County hung multiple nooses on a tree in front of his property along the highway with a sign that read, “It’s best not to be hanging around this area after dark.” Martingale denies any racial implications, according to CBS.

Family says Oklahoma police beat man to death in front of them


The family of an Oklahoma man says that he was beat to death by five Moore Police officers right in front of them. Nair Rodriguez and her daughter Lunahi told News 9 they got into an argument at Warren Theater around midnight.

Nair slapped her daughter then stormed off. Her husband Luis, who chased after her, was soon confronted by the officers who demanded to see his identification.
