  The involuntary manslaughter charge against a Detroit police officer who mistakenly killed a 7-year-old girl during a raid was dropped by a judge on Friday. 

    The NFL Players Union appealed Ray Rice’s indefinite suspension on Wednesday. Rice was originally suspended for two games in July under the NFL’s personal conduct policy after being charged with assault following a Feb. 15 altercation with his then-fiance.

  Terry Crews has responded to the Ray Rice abuse incident by opening up about his own experiences with domestic violence. The 46-year-old actor/comedian shared how the Ray Rice elevator altercation affected him, as well as what he witnessed in his household growing up. 

A law enforcement official says he sent a video of Ray Rice punching his then-fiancee Janay Palmer to an NFL executive five months ago. This is a sharp contradiction to league executives’ story that they didn’t see the violent images until this week when they were released by TMZ Sports.
