An amazing young author has published her second book, and she’s just 13. Angela Content’s mother Mary Content said she knew her daughter wanted to share her stories with the world.Â
Swimming pools pose a much greater threat to black children and teens than they do to other kids. The research, discovered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notes that black children ages 5 to 19 drown in swimming pools at a rate more than 5 times that of white children.Â

A South Florida female correctional officer says she was sexual assaulted by 17 inmates inside a Miami correctional facility in December. According to NBC 6, the woman said she was humiliated and suffered significant injuries. Three other corrections officers were also hurt, with no one alerting authorities for more than two months.Â
Police arrested six students at Streamwood High School on Tuesday, after a race-related fight broke out among them. No one was seriously injured, but one student did have a bloody lip.Â
