Houston Teens Missing After Sneaking Out to Meet Man They Met on Facebook
Houston teenagers Liana Andrews, 16, and Kacie Watson, 14 have gone missing after sneaking out of Andrews’ home to meet a man they met on Facebook.
The teens snuck out, texted Andrews’ grandmother, and stole her mother’s car. They haven’t been seen since.
Their families are desperate to find them.
“You can’t imagine what we are going through unless you’ve been in this position before. It’s unbelievable. It makes you numb. You have to keep functioning but it’s only through the grace of God that you’re able to,” Ernestine Lomaz, Watson’s grandmother, said.
The car was found abandoned days later and 400 hundred of miles away in San Antonio, near the courthouse. The girls’ belongings were still inside.
Because the pair seem to have left willingly, police have classified their disappearance as a runaway case, but the girls’ families believe they may have been abducted.
“No girls would leave their makeup and clothes,” Watson’s grandmother said. “Not those two. They wouldn’t leave their makeup and clothes in a car.”
This is a very scary situation.
