Breaking News: Hip-hop doesn’t like women.

Rick Ross appeared on The Breakfast Club to dish his thoughts on all the happenings in hip-hop culture. Eventually, the interview took a turn inwards and focused on Rozay and his own MMG label.

Co-host Angela Yee asked the legitimate question as to why Ross hasn’t taken the opportunity to add a female emcee to the roster in all this time and his answer was… interesting.

“You know I never did it because I always thought I would end up f**king the female rapper and f**king the business up,” he said above Charlamagne’s cackling outburst for the answer. “I’m so focused on my business, you know, I gotta be honest with you. She’s looking good, I’m spending so much money on her photo shoots. I gotta f**k a couple of times.”

Wait. Pause. STOP THE MUSIC!

So, you’re telling me that Ross just up and assumes that he’d end up having sex with any female emcee he invested in? Like fostering a career is somehow a down payment on sexual consent? That’s now how any of this works.

Let’s not forget that Ross got int rouble a couple years ago for promoting date rape in a rap verse that Bill Cosby would probably be proud of.

“Put Molly all in the champagne/ She ain’t even know it/I took her home and I enjoyed that/ She ain’t even know it,” he said on the “U.O.E.N.O.” remix.
