Cedric the Entertainer Hosts 100 Black Celebrities For A Town Hall Meeting

With the recent jump in black celebrities coming out to speak on the political climate in the U.S., it was just a matter of time before they all came together. And Cedric the Entertainer is being touted as the one responsible for making it happen.

A recent Instagram post from the famous comedian shows what was the end result of what’s being called a town hall meeting with 100 black celebrities in attendance. Some of which were Jesse Williams, T.I., Boris Kodjoe, Nicole Ari Parker, Lorenz Tate, Meagan Good and many more.

Former CNN host Piers Morgan weighed in on the use of the N-word, and John Legend quickly shut his theory down.

In a column for the Daily Mail titled, “If black Americans want the N-word to die, they will have to kill it themselves,” Morgan called for blacks to eradicate the term as a solution to banning use of the word by all races. 

Allen Iverson to Announce Retirement

Allen Iverson, one of the greatest players of all time, is set to announce his retirement from professional Basketball.

He hasn’t played in the NBA since 2010.


Iverson’s career should absolutely end with a Hall of Fame induction, as the 11-time All-Star finished with career averages of 26.7 points, 6.2 assists and 2.2 steals. Iverson played in 71 career postseason games, appeared in the NBA Finals once, and won MVP in 2001.

R&B singer Usher’s son nearly drowned after his arm became stuck in a swimming pool’s drain.

Initially, the boy’s aunt – as well as Usher’s housekeeper – were unable to pull him out.


Responding to their cries for help, two men installing sound in Usher’s downtown Atlanta home ran to the scene and were able to save five-year-old Usher Raymond V.
