George Zimmerman’s Bank Records Show Large Transfers of Money
Prosecutors have released 34 pages of records attesting to their assertion that George Zimmerman and his wife lied to investigators about their financial situation.
The records detail large transfers of money to and from his bank account during the time he was charged with the murder of Trayvon Martin.
“These records are among the things that led prosecutors to charge Zimmerman’s wife with perjury for allegedly lying to the judge in her husband’s case. Florida authorities said Shellie Zimmerman lied on the witness stand about how much money was available to pay for her husband’s bond. The bank records show George Zimmerman had raised far more money for his defense than he or his family ever let on.”
