Chicago rapper Chief Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, is once again dealing the aftermath of a violent matter. A Northfield, IL, home that is rented Cozart’s manager was the site of a shooting.
Chief Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, was a passenger in the vehicle that dropped off the shooting victim at NorthShore Skokie Hospital overnight, according to the rapper’s lawyer, Leah Starkman. Her client was questioned in connection with the shooting on Wednesday at the Northfield police station, she said. Starkman didn’t know the circumstances of the shooting, but insisted the rapper wasn’t involved.
The person is recovering in the ICU at NorthShore Skokie Hospital and is in stable condition.
