Following a series of proposed budget cuts, many fear that President Trump could be taking money away from Meals on Wheels, which helps bring food to senior citizens across the country, many of whom would not have quality food otherwise. To help keep this from happening, Colin Kaepernick donated $50,000 to the program, according to The New York Daily News.

Colin Kaepernick’s mission to donate $1 million to a variety of charities and social justice organizations is commendable and has proven to be fruitful thus far. However, not everyone is a fan of his choices as President Donald Trump went as far as to brag on his role in why the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback is yet to be picked up by a new team.

It looks like Kaepernick’s heard Trump’s gloating loud and clear.

Including a donation to the Love Army for Somalia, Kaepernick is believed to have donated more than an estimated $500,000 to charities across the country to support multiple causes.

A running log of his donations from when he started this campaign in October 2016 can be found on his website, Kaepernick7.com.
